Gyeryong City is the home of Gyeryongdae, the headquarters of Korean army, marine and air force. Gyeryong World Military Culture Festival is held in October every year to sublimate uniqueness of the military-military music, honor, barracks, security, discipline and spirit-into culture.

2019 Gyeryong World Military Culture Festival is held for 5 days from October 2 to October 6 in the city of Gyeryong, Chungcheongnamdo. The military bands and honor guards of the army, marine, air force and the marine corps, concerts, marching band competition, military dance competition, military fashion show, children military song festival and other spectacular performances, special stages, Black Eagle Air Show and many more exciting events and programs await to entertain and move the visitors.
